THE START OF THE DAY

Thank you God in heaven
For a day begun.
Thank you for the breezes,
Thank you for the sun.
For this time of gladness,
For our work and play,
Thank you God in heaven
For another day.

THE END OF THE DAY

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for all the things you have given me.
Thank you for all the things I enjoy.
Thank you for my friends and family.
Thank you for being with me today.

LEAVING BURGH SCHOOL

Dear God,
Thank you for all the things you have helped us with during our time at Burgh School.
We are grateful for all the teachers who made sure we were OK.
We are sorry for all the bad things we’ve done, but know you gave us another chance, no matter what we did.
You gave us courage when we were sad.
When you hear us speaking to you, we know you stop and listen.
Please stay with us always, even when my friends and I part.
