This blog was set up by Mr. Hurdman and the class of Y6 2008/2009 at St. Peter and St. Paul Church of England Primary School, Burgh-Le-Marsh. It has several aims…
1) To inform parents of Y6, other children in the school and anyone else who is interested what Y6 actually get up to with Mr. Hurdman day after day!
2) To continue to teach the children on Y6 about safe, responsible internet use, particularly when creating posts on sites that can be read by others.
3) To allow the children to develop their literacy skills as they will be providing some of the content (time permitting!).
4) To provide an outlet for Mr. Hurdman’s renowned wit.
5) To allow some children’s work to be published quickly on a global medium.
6) To provide links to useful bits and pieces that we use or refer to in Y6.
7) To allow you to keep in touch with us when you’ve left! Yes, believe it or not we won’t forget you as soon as you leave on the last day of the Summer Term so don’t forget us! Keep in touch!
All posts and comments are moderated by Mr. Hurdman before they appear on the web. At the moment no children’s names should be mentioned in posts but we’re looking to just put first names on eventually. Please do not mention other children’s names in comments either and be aware that if you comment on the posts, your name may appear.
Thanks go to Learn About New Stuff for being the inspiration for this site!
